Gentex Mirror for 2020

I have a 2020 TRD 4X4 ORDC and didn't come equipped with homelink mirror. Has anyone installed 1 on there 2020 and if so was it plug and play.thx

 

Got mine from salvage yard on eBay.you need 2 hots an 1 grd for it to work.some2020 don't have the second wire hot,so you have to splice into dome lite..wine was like that.check your plug,it should be 12 pin.

 

Is there an easy way to see if there are 2 hots on mine b4 I buy another mirror.thx

 

Get test lite an check plug.you need to have ignition on.

 

I will need to check on that. It's like I no with the 2020 for the bed lights they have plug in play so I'm hoping I wont need to tap into anything else for mirror.

 

If you're handy no big deal,I paid $50 for mine from eBay took 1/2 to spice mine into dome lite.

I second Bob's mirrors. It was PNP on my 2019.

 

There's also homelink mirrors that run on batteries if you don't want to worry about wiring

 

I was unaware of the mirror with batteries. I saw this Bob's that has an ebay store from TW and when I read the info on the page it said this gentex homelink mirror with 4.0 was plug and play as long as your truck has the 12 pin .

Thanks for the email. It says if you need a harness to make it plug and play they can but do you no how much that is. If not I will just ask him on his email.
