Just bought an 05 a/t Taco and love these shift knobs, quality work and beautiful craftsmanship. Please tell me you have something left over for an auto trans. I want it to sit lower, really cant stand how high it sits, I suppose I am too used my cars and being able to put in a short shifter in them. Perhaps carbon fiber or Ti? Fingers crossed. Either way I want to tell you that your work is very impressive.

I’ve been holding off to get my Manual shift knob... guess I’ll have to wait a bit longer. Hopefully you find some time to make some more in the near future! These are by far the best looking ones!

Will do! It's V2, I've gotta take the stock collar off and add a zip-tie first.

Srsly, my 5MT shifts are crisp/smooth, rather than notchy/clunky, with the new 350 gram Delrin knob. :hattip:

I haven't calculated how much extra weight you get with the 3/8"-16 core, but I imagine it's another 20-30g.

I'm actually considering this mod now, after about 3 years of no modification (other than 2LM).

146K miles on my truck now.

Also, for those wondering what remains for sale, first post always up to date. Just the four AT knobs now.

My inventory should have lasted me 6-8 more weeks, but the M/T Tacoma Facebook group (mostly) cleaned me out on 4th of July weekend.

Well shoot, I read this thread from start to finish today, what an evolution!

Anyway, if you ever make any more I want one like this except TRD Sport. What a great piece, totally fascinating to see it progress from page one until now. I'm sorry I missed this thread a few months ago.

Super glad I picked one of these up before @7r41lbr34k3r sold out! Feels great in the hand and looks rad in the truck!

One of my favorite mods I’ve done to my truck. The craftsmanship is super top notch in these. I believe I got in on one of the last runs that Rick did. I’m sure glad I did too.

I'm officially jealous of everyone who got one. I can't look at other shifters because his is clearly the best (IMHO). I've been paying attention in this thread so I think it's okay to say...I really want to put my hands on his knob when I drive my truck. ;-)
