Agreed the Bronco is sweet. I do think a Gladiator will be my next truck though. I do lots of truck stuff and that towing capacity/longer bed sounds dreamy

Hopefully Toyota Corp stays off IG, though. Only a small segment are into tank-weighted overlanding. Which none of the Bronco's offerings seem to lean that direction, thank gawd!

My sliders finally came in. These things are STOUT. I wish it wasn't so unbearable outside right now. I sweat so much earlier while cleaning and priming them.

Here are a few shots before I started with the primer.

Haha. Nice catch. Damn husky fur.

These are made by White Knuckle Offroad. The biggest problem with 1st gen Tundras is the fact that there is very little aftermarket support. There are only 2 good options for access cab sliders. These were overpriced but I couldn't do much about it. They bolt on which is why I got them.

The other option is Brute Force Fab weld on sliders. I was going to get those but couldn't find anyone who wanted to weld them on. Rocky Top didn't want to mess with it and said it would take 6 hours of labor. WTF!

I hear that. They are great looking sliders. I prefer bolt on also.

I'll keep that in mind. I asked in the Tennessee thread on the Tundra forum but didn't get any feedback. Not many Knoxville guys on there. I couldn't believe how no one I called seemed interested in welding them on. I even reached out to Asheville Vehicle Outfitters and they were no help.

Does anyone know of a beach you can drive on and camp that is also dog friendly? Preferably within 8 hours or so of Knoxville.

I feel like there are some places like this in NC but I can't remember the names.

    Atlantic, gulf, lake, or river?
Careful about loose gravel at rivers. :anonymous: Almost got me a couple times.

Open to either ocean. Thinking it might be a bit cooler in NC than Florida though. It's absolutely miserable outside here in Knoxville.

The nearest place I know is Corolla/Duck area in NC. It is just above Nags head. You can camp in the dunes, drive on the beach. That is where I vacation most years.....but unfortunately, not this year

They also have houses to rent in the dunes, fully furnished weekly rentals. Drive in and pack in all your food, and you only come off the beach if you don't want to cook/wish to party.

Been trying to find more info since you posted. All I found was this. Is it Portsmouth island?
