40k miles. Roads feel a little washboardy at almost all times. Original tires except the spare is now on in place of one of the original tires. I feel EVERY little bump in the road. To the point that I think I am feeling bumps that aren't even there. I have my theories but want to keep it open to get fresh ideas.

Tire balance is my guess too. Hope it's that simple.

This was noted for some tuned Tacos. It has been noted that since the TC has three modes and it can be flakey for some, the engage / disengage can feel like rumble strips at times. I don't know if folks had this stock?

Thought VSC was more for lifts and suspension changes/upgrades.

Tire pressure was crazy high. DUH!!!! been 95 degrees here. Apparently PV really does equal nRT. Who knew? Although don't remember any other summer giving this result.

Every 11 degrees F will change a typical tire pressure by one psi. And the equation you are looking for is Charles Law which is ((P1V1)/T1)=((P2V2)/T2). Not the Ideal Gas Law in its base form. In your case, V1 and V2 are constant, T1 and T2 are your measured inputs which change your P1 and P2.
It's easier just to know 11 degrees = 1 psi lol.

Actually you gave the combined gas law not Charles. Ideal gas law is the starting point for all of them, IMO, so............ NERD FIGHT!!!!!!:duel:

What are we doing????????. Quick someone put up a bikini pic or tell a dirty joke to refocus us.

Lol yes, I tend to think of it as Charles Law in my brain but yes, it is the Combined Gas Law. Between that and Thermo Laws my mind goes fuzzy as I use parts and pieces of all of it daily. 30 years of using them makes them all sort of blend together! That plus beers and a few shots tonight mean... I start thinking of tube tops and boobies.

Anyway, I just got back from Hilton Head Island and, like every engineer should, I checked my cold tire pressures when I left and checked the screen after an hour on I95 at 75 mph. True to form, each tire climbed a few degrees due to heat caused by rolling resistance and flex of tires. Ambient temps caused a few degrees more, so my tires that started at 34 psi magically had 38 psi in them an hour later!
I am not so anal retentive that I keep all tires exactly the same psi, but I keep them within one psi delta. I pay attention to stuff like that.

Well, the math in this thread just forced me to leave. Math involves numbers, not letters dammit.

Nitrogen filed tires here. Been using it for years, my tires stay at 30 cold and on hot days I may see 32 or 33 lbs but never any more that 3 lbs and on cold days its a few maybe 31 or 31. I never see anything under 29 on super cold days. Works for me, never had a tpml.
