Hey, thinking about the ARB and Slee mount myself (just for airing up - no other pneumatics) and am curious if you have any long term test feedback. Everything still solid? How was the fit of the Slee parts? Thank you!!!

Works great! It's a bit of a tight fit, but once you get it installed it's nice having it out of the way. Make sure you use teflon tape on any air lines and you'll be good to go.

At some point I plan to extend the quick connect down to the bumper so I don't have to open the hood. If I'm using the compressor on a hot day I have to use gloves to disconnect the hose from the quick connect because the metal get too hot to touch by hand.

thank you! all good info. I wondered about the heat under the engine compartment, but as long as the compressor hasn't melted, sounds good! Haha.

Finally trimmed the back seat storage plastics to protect the subwoofer and amp. Not my best job, but good enough for something most people will never see.

Went out to the dunes again today. Got to use a lot of recovery gear and watch a Raptor get launched into the air. As usual I don't have any pictures of my truck being driven... Haha

I found your build while following @turbodb build and adventure thread. It's great seeing a trail limo out playing in the wild, especially when it's mostly stock. I have a 2019 Off Road long bed I'm building up for adventures when I retire in a couple of years. I'm jealous of your scenery and trails out west.

It's pretty amazing how capable these trucks are basically stock. As boring and uncool as the truck looks it's always fun being able to go out with fully built trucks and not feel like I'm being hindered too much. My stock tires are definitely what hinder me the most right now. They just won't die :deadhorse:

Love the scenery out here too. Only thing that keeps me out West.

Sometimes I miss the 1st gen on the trail, not caring about beating it up and being able to handle just about everything. Then I take a long road trip and remember why I wanted a new Tacoma :)

Decided I needed a 12v socket for the bed of the truck so I can power the fridge. Ordered a Blue Sea accessory panel from @Mr.PowerTrays . Of course it didn’t end there. Since I was already buying one thing from powertrays I figured I might as well order one of their accessory panels since I plan to run a 4x4spod in the future. This led me down the path of wanting to clean up my current wiring. So now I have a Blue Sea fuse block too...

Pretty happy with the entire setup overall. Just need the 4x4spod for switches in the future.

Got the most boring looking mod done to the truck. 5.29’s and front ARB air locker.

This is a very nice solution to the rats nest of wiring i am accumulating, but the tray i see for the 3rd gen taco on thier site isnt cut quite the same as yours... did you order something special, or cut your own holes or something? my question really is, can the larger blue sea fuse box be fit on there? If you investigated that....

Thanks! I’m pretty happy with it. This is the 4x4spod version of the tray. No cutting required, I just used 3M double-sided outdoor adhesive tape instead of drilling holes. The left blank portion has the perfect amount of room for the 6 fuse Blue Sea block. The 12 fuse one would overhang.

Have somewhat of an update to this. Between the holidays, work getting really busy, and then the coronavirus stuff this truck hasn't been doing much other than the occasional dirt road to hiking trailheads.

One truck mod that I've done, or rather a completion of a truck mod that was installed back in October, is hooking up my front ARB air locker. Put off buying the manifold for the longest time but finally got around to it and I'm pretty pleased with the install location. Found an existing hole in the core support that worked perfectly with the air line that ARB provides.

Made a trip out to Great Basin National Park for a weekend with the kid. Was good to go camping again since it had been since November.

Very nice - looks like a great time. We thought about making a detour over that way when we did the BDR, but decided, "hey, we can make that part of another trip." :) Can't wait!
