A little of this and a little of that.
    Good morning.

Hot day here, but that’s normal.

Lawns to be mowed and then hopefully a little pool time.

    Enjoy your Sunday.

Good morning. 67° now much better but will be getting up to 82° today and tomorrow. Lot less humid though had water running down the outside of the windows yesterday and last night it was so humid.

Shot Sporting Clays and FITSC Thursday much of the day and skeet yesterday morning. Getting ready to head out to shoot 5 Stand this morning. Super Sporting tomorrow morning and 5 Stand again Tuesday evening. Monday starts my third and last week of furlough so some naps in there someplace. Good exercise to get a person to think about retirement....

Good morning all, great pics of everyone's dinner yesterday. Grilled steaks, sweet potato with a Hendricks on the rocks last night for dinner. No desert - annual physical tomorrow.

Another beautiful start to the day here but the calm before the storm is in play - boomers scheduled for early afternoon.

    Have a wonderful Sunday everyone

P.S. Our small county Sheriff has a contract with ICE and is not very popular with the Hispanic community here. They held a protest at the sheriff's office yesterday. A rancher decided he was going to make a statement so he got out of his truck walked over to the group and started a fight - he got his lunch handed to him and arrested for in-sighting a riot. Dumb-ass, it was peaceful until he started being an idiot.

    Morning all

14 hours from doorstep to doorstep.

Can't believe how fast things grow here, full on trees that were saplings last november.

Time to get out the chainsaw.

    And its 52°.

Supposed to get to 62°, eventually.

    Good morning all.

Family is on the way to the beach this morning. My back isn’t going to let me go so I’ll be home with my girlfriend (the dog) relaxing on the deck.

When my dad passed in 09 mom had us all over the day after the funeral to go through his stuff. We found an old cigar box. Inside was his school report cards and comments from the nuns. My dad wasn't an angel when he was a kid.
When mom passed in 2018 we found some bottles of wine my dad made back in the 70s. I have one of those bottles on a shelf in the living room.
When we were going through things and throwing stuff out that was hard. Most of their things are gone but still have memories and old photos.
One small item that I kept
was a steak platter. Dad used for bring food in when cooking outside. It's been in use now for about 50 years. I think of him every time I cook outside.
I'd say take the small things that have the most memories.

Yup. Lost mom in April '98 and dad moved in with me the next month and died in Oct '98, and then lost sister in '05. Hardest thing was going through all their stuff. Couldn't keep it all, but did keep the dining room table and buffet that dad made, plus a few things mom and sis made. Plus pics. My "bathrobe" is a fuzzy shirt that used to be my sister's.

It's always going to be cooler along the coast compared to inland temps . I just checked the weather at my Brother's FIL's place which Seal Beach Calif . It is just a few mile North of a favorite Socal surfing spot in Huntington Beach Calif

Anyways it's 90 miles Southwest of me in Seal Beach it's Currently 70° , here at my place currently 92°
