Having just put my squadrons on, they were hard to put in as well but that was because of the yellow thread locker on the screws.

I was able to get it in but I appreciate that! I noticed the top of my lights (on the housing) had bd stamped in black while the ones I've seen on YouTube have white letters spell out baja designs (mine is the non sae )

I think my squadron pros have white letters there. I know for a fact my XL80’s do. Might just be the sports, probably cost cutting measure

We recently updated the housing with a BD logo extruded on the top rather than the Baja Designs spelled out. We changed that maybe 3 months ago, but it's all cosmetic.

We changed it for the Squadron Sport, Pro, and Racer Edition. Just a different look. :)

I just got my new BD wiring in and was stoked to use my S8 for a course sweep at the BOR desert race this weekend.

Turned it on for a high speed straight section and both me and my nav were all :rofl::rofl:

Thankfully the amber squadrons down low were enough to light up the place. They did a great job. Time to move that bar back tonight.

Esp when you go from dark track to staring at the sun while doing 60. Little bit of pucker factor there until we got down to a safe speed while we regained our vision.

Changed my "Parts Bin Fab" mounting spacers so the bar sits farther back. What a difference that made. Not totally fixed, but SO much better.

Installed my S2 light in the bumper, just need to make a harness now. The mating connector was not in the box, just wondering if I can get one from a Toyota dealer or electronics supplier - does anyone have a part number?

The light uses a 2 pin weatherpack connector, you’ll need the male end, a male and female barrel, and 2 wire seals along with the wire, relay, fuse, etc...

If you have a good vehicle electronics store local like I do they might carry it, otherwise you can order them from Amazon, eBay, or countless other websites.

Thanks. I have all the rest of the harness stuff including wire loom, diodes. Do you know if you can terminate three 18 AWG wires on one pin? I am feeding the light from 3 sources. (reverse circuit, a switch in the bed, a switch in the cab)

This kit looks pretty expensive, I might see if there's a garage that can connectorize that end of the harness for me.

These are the SAE Fogs , purchased when they first became available, is this discolouration normal? @Baja Designs

I have a $20 crimping tool and buy connectors and barrels as needed rather then an entire kit.

I’d crimp a single wire to the barrel then split it into 3 after that so the connector seals properly.
