The Definity Dakotas are made by Cooper Tires. They are great tires for the price.

I went through a few of sets of them on my 2001 Tacoma when the second set of Rugged Trails wore out... Cheap price but they needed replacing at 25,000 miles (which I got for 1/2 price since it has a 50,000 mile warantee). I had my '01 for 136,000 miles (in 5 years).

They were called Futura Dakotas back then, but the same tire. They were quiet on the highway and did good in the sand... about equal to the Rugged Trails.
