    Oh lol.

i got more burned than i was last weekend. But we caught over 15 fish that we're keeping. My gf's dad fishes for substance and not for sport. Only ones we threw back, were the ones we aren't keeping

    I mayyyyy have fucked up.

Tried to replace the output shaft seal on my CB750, do the normal trick of driving some screws in a little as pull points, it’s not budging, start cutting away, hack at it for far too long. Turns out it’s a 2 piece seal with part pressed in from the inside.

Fuuuuuuck me sideways. Looks like I will be pulling the engine and splitting cases in the immediate future :anonymous:

Ughhh all for a tiny leak.

How old is your gas cap? When you open it after a long ride does it whoosh as if there’s a small vacuum happening? That’d be my first check. My guess is your gas cap isn’t venting properly and it’s pulling air through the two pieces of the fuel filter and that’s where your air is coming from.

    Just a guess though *shrug*

Also, be glad you only have two carbs instead of four

Going to be dropping the engine tomorrow!

Took the grom on a Lowe’s run today and it started raining right when I got there. Rack gets here tomorrow! @amRRussel want to buy my current fender eliminator?

Photos and deets? You probably outlined it at some point in this thread, but I am too lazy to search.

    Four carbs!

That sounds like a synchronizing nightmare.

Gas cap is original to the bike, 2007. It appears to be in good shape but I’ve never heard any whooshing from it.

    Thanks for the help!

I've wanted a Grom for awhile to mess around on but have a hard time justifying it when I feel I already have a bigger version of one.

Forgot I have a red one at the campsite. Need to make another Lowe’s run to get mounting hardware. Want to make something like vagabonds mounting plate.
