I made mine shorter so I could drop the tailgate and have two surfaces to use when camping.

Not anymore. Need to check fluid levels for sure. Want to do the mod Scot B did with larger cooling coil on front.

Watching the video always makes it look easier. My heart was bounding on some of those! Kind of glad I got out before it rained, how bad did it get?

This is what it looks like all the way down with tailgate open. Slight interference but actually adds some rigidity. I’ll probably leave it. I’ll put my grill on my tailgate and smaller items on the swingout table. Like plates condiments etc. adds a lot more space with the longer piece.

It didn’t get too bad. We got out of the woods just in time! There was a log next to a big ass rut, so everyone had to ride that log down. The rain was starting to fall pretty hard then. If it had started raining 5-10 min earlier, it would have been a muddy, slippery mess.

Exactly haha. That’s what I was going for! Quick and easy pack up too. Locks at 90* and then locks at that full position as well. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Might look at changing the straps out to the kind that has the plastic like material over it though. Gonna be nice to have on our next GA Traverse trip!

i hate to say it, but I choose not to go outside unless I have stuff to do. It's so hot it's not enjoyable to be outside unless there's something to distract you from the heat.

I'm outside in the summer heat and the winter's cold. Its the humidity that gets to me. I can handle 100+ temperatures, just need low humidity. With the high dew point I just can't dry and cool off.
