Kinda of a rainy Sunday, had some good storms blow though and cool things off. Still managed a little outside time.42F84C20-C921-4401-B011-EA3E774FBEC2.jpg

Don’t understand why it’s 100° heat index and some of the leaves in my yard are turning.

AWESOME! At the top of my list, pineapple spears and Kabobs

And corn on the cob and bacon wrapped onion rings. But pineapple spears and Kabobs are the king of the show.

Same here. I think it is just a teaser for the best time of the year, fall. Is a ways off though unfortunately. Prickers and burrs are just starting to show flowers and seed heads are next. Pulling them as fast as I can when they flower and show me where they are, but some are starting to turn brown already.

    PICS!!!! :angrygirl:
got lots more, just need to tweak them a little first.
friday night - cloudy and windy so I didn't stay out too long
    _MG_0240.jpg
    saturday was much better
    _MG_0320.jpg
also got some milky way pics. neighbor's campfire is the orange glow below the treeline. the brightest spot is jupiter and the otehr bright one to the left is saturn...i think
    _MG_0334.jpg
while I was waiting for it to get dark enough to see the comet (it was about 10-15* away from where the sun set so it stayed lighter longer) i was just hanging by the campfire and watching the stars to the south. i spotted a satellite heading N-S, and another and another....got up to 17 before I got distracted by another pair of satellites that were heading W-E and were flashing very brightly every few seconds. and it wasn't an airplane. I think the 17 southbound ones I saw were some of the Space X Starlink series. Not sure what the Eastbound ones were.

    Evening all :hattip:

Busy day of doing absolutely nothing !!!!!

Currently watching the replay of the 14th annual Diamond Nationals Dirt Late Models race from Wheatland Ms last weekend

Question though how does a major race such as this allow packed grandstands and spectators and race officials to not be wearing masks or social distancing ???????????

    Morning y'all,

Well, another weekend in the books... Wife talked me into another project, she's been wanting to redoo the master bedroom THEME... I hate when she says that, well over the last 6 weeks I've painted, got a new king size bed, was going to keep the rest of our bedroom set, but oh no, now that has to go, gave it to my Son and DIL for their new house... Found a used set and she's going to refinish it to match the new bed frame.. Ya know how the HGTV home improvement shows do 10 pieces of furniture in an hour on that show!!! Well, it usually starts out she's gun ho to get r dun! Then I ended up doing all of it... Yep, happened again, SOOOOOO I've spent all weekend sanding, painting staining the tops, and wala three pieces are pretty much done.. 4 pieces to go still, that's next weekend, the weekend after that, and for the foreseeable future of my life!!

She has helped, standing back telling me I missed something, or did it wrong.. God I love my wife, I love my wife, I love my wife....

    Everyone have a great Monday!!

I'm going to work in my server room today, where she doesn't come to, and I'm the boss...

    RJ
