The deer are scared of the feeder I put up a couple weeks ago. I ran out of cob corn and had to get shelled, they are eating what I poured on the ground. Guess I'll pour the feeder out and take it back home.

I had been putting cob corn out for several weeks and had several nice bucks in there everyday, night and daytime, as soon as I put the feeder up I didn't have a picture of a buck for a week and the feeder is still full going on 2 weeks, it has the same shelled corn I put on the ground they're eating. Maybe they'll get used to it soon, I'm just trying to give them something to eat until I can plant the food plot around Labor Day, depending on the weather.

I’d love to see Cole (8) or my wife get them big ones, I think I’ll lay low hunting this year and try and keep them coming in for them.

My red bone coon hound had a young one, about 200 pounds, up a tree the other day. Central New York area. Taking a picture wasn’t a priority in the moment....

I did not know that. I've never hunted over bait (unless a hot doe is considered bait)

It didn’t used to be legal here but that changed in the 1990’s best I remember.
