And i snugged up valve cover bolts but not tight. Probs don't need to worry about it leaking unless i tightened p tight right?

they don't take much, their torque is measured in inch/lbs...too much and you'll damage them or the cover. From what I've heard it's not much more than finger tight

I haven't had to do valve covers yet so I'm just going off what I've read, I know people have screwed them up before because they thought they were done in ft/lbs instead of inch/lbs. Doesn't sound like you went too tight though

Also once again I forgot you have a 4 banger and what I've read pertains specifically to the 3.4l lol. Hopefully someone with the same engine can chime in

Oh yeah 52 inch lbs versus ft lbs is an insane difference. I might just leave em, only removed to see if i could get a better shot at my plug yesterday

You're good with that. Be thankful you didn't strip the ign coil bolts. Those are the same minimal torque setting and are easy to strip as well

Well, we gave it an E for Effort. The rear abs sensor has to much girth to fit in the front abs hole.

You can but it's not really worth it unless you're adding a turbo, otherwise you're just adding to the vibrations

Oh shit! Glad to see you got the broken section out. My personal rule of thumb when it comes to tightening bolts into aluminum without a torque wrench

Use a short quarter inch ratchet and only go as tight as one finger on the end of the ratchet handle will take it

Or like you said a quarter turn past finger tight
