I was elated when I found out 4 runners (mine at least) didn't have them

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

LOL... I knew it was coming as soon as the bed came off. Wasn't really sure what I was going to do, until it was pretty much the next thing that needed to be done. Fortunately I had the right sized tap, so I could reuse the stock bolts.

This wasn't really planned this way. I blew up my old front coilover, and when I ordered the new set of coil overs I said fuck it and ordered the back as well. lol

Drop bracket lift and booger welds
I know that pain. Mine took over a month. This was before I had my own welder though. Borrowed someones welder to do it, and cut the plates with my buddies plasma. Needing to rely on other peoples shops is a time suck in itself. But lots of extra went into it from the custom plates running the full length (not stopping before the gas tank xmember), raising the gas tank 2" when I did weld the x member back in, swapping the gas tank due to the old one being dented, and of course the shock relocation/extending the bumps.

This has been on my list for quite some time. I was going to do this, tundra brakes and yanking ABS all at the same time, but the tundy brakes came in sooner than I thought. Manual valve and ripping ABS out is on the short list as well as a full fluid flush and bleed. I can't stop finding projects for some reason.

Good for getting the attention of those in the group who don't install CB's.

can you please take a photo of the re-install of this? Did you have enough room with the hardlines?

The hard lines had enough play that I was able to just tap the holes so the valve mounts in the spot the lines were most happy in.

I'll take a pic when I get home

It’s always a flame fest in here lol. Batteries are a big mod don’t you know.. this optima lasted 8+ years and is still fine but I don’t drive it enough to keep it charged and with a big trip coming not trying to risk loosing one in the middle of the trip. I’ll go baller status and get the 90 dollar Walmart battery instead of the 75 and if I have any issues can just run into town and exchange it since Walmart is everywhere. May spring for an optima since I had such good luck if I can find em for 150 ish
Cool last optima lasted me 8+ years and still works just doesn’t hold a charge over a week. I’ll look and see if I can find a coupon.

your comparing a 320 dollar battery to at most expensive for retail I was looking at 200. The 75 dollar Walmart battery will do 99% of people on this website more than they will ever need.

But hey your money and you did answer my original question so thanks. My saved money will go towards gas for now.

    I know right?

Get a battery tender then. I leave my truck on one all winter as I dont really drive it then and that's what killed them. You can get them way cheap on Amazon!

Well, my CEL was a misfire for cylinders 1, 2, 3 and a random, so that’s neat. Changed the plugs and wires yesterday, should be good.
