Hey buddy, how’s it going on that instant switch to swap between tunes? Man I’ve been loving the stsb tune for the street and for most dirt applications so far but it killed me today playing leader for a bunch of stock trucks in the cinders. Absolutely terrible for holding onto gears before downshifting for what I needed today lol. Solution is a switch to allow for the absolute ultimate Undrivable spicy tune On command, or ditch the newbies and stock-ish trucks when driving the race truck lol. Woulda been better off in the 4Runner today other than saving the Can-Am that tried to race us and lost when they drove into a hole

I use my cruise control as soon as I get to speed...turn it on and the computer is immediately happy. Shifts perfectly fine then.

@nd4spdbh I recently switched from STSB3 trans to v13 and noticed a huge difference in my coasting. Im actually accelerating while going down hill now. Not sure if this was happening with B3???

More than likely due to the fact V13 will get you into a higher gear sooner, when you are "coasting" there is less rpms and less engine braking.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
what if both ECUs were on the same immobilizer RF sequence? There can’t be that many combos.

Unfortunately doesnt work like that, The IMMO can only be paired with one ECU at a time.

What kind of fuel do you all use with SC tunes? Ive been putting regular fuel in mine and I feel like it might be messing with the engine combustion. I say this, because when i try to really give it a rip it makes some weird noises.

SC requires at least 91 octane. I’d switch to that ASAP.

Yes, the TRD kits and magnuson kits both state to use 91 octane or higher

Good to know! Thank you! So I have a 1/2 tank left. Next steps should be to take it to empty, put fuel cleaner in it, and then start putting 91 octane? Or should i just start putting 91 octane in it rn?

i guess this question could be in another thread, sorry

Just put it in right now. No need to run cleaner.

Appreciate it everyone! Still learning. So what was i most likely hearing? Was that the beginning stages of knocking?

Def fill it up with 91 asap. I would be easy on the throttle for a couple fill ups. You were probably hearing knock from pre-detonation. Basically your fuel mixture was burning before it was supposed to be.

Yes. Due to the octane not being able to keep up with the demands that boost is putting it under.
