Hey guys, I am having trouble choosing what my next purchase will be. I’m looking at installing a OME lift with 886 coils and heavy shocks as I added an ARB bumper a couple months ago. On the other hand I’ve been looking at a pedal fishing kayak. I go fishing about three times a week and I find a lot of areas where I wish I had a kayak again to get to lesser fished holes. The snake river is only ten minutes away and lots of ponds and small lakes with in twenty minutes. Also could use the kayak for up coming duck hunting season. However, Every time I see my truck I want to get the lift. After shipping and install/ tools to do it myself the cost should be the same as the kayak. Either way I go I’ll probably have the money saved up again by Jan 2021 to get the other. It’s just too hard of a decision. What would you do?

Would fishing out of the kayak make you forget about how the truck looks ?

Do they rent/lease kayaks in your area?

There’s only a few more months of the season...

    Maybe get a PT job?

Look for someone selling their 886s?

Barter, trade on a used kayak?

    Where there’s a will....

    Good Luck!!

They do rent kayaks but I live in a small town so it would be hour drive. The amount of money isn’t the problem. Already work seven days a week. My short days are between 2-4 hours, depending on what needs done. Will look around for used 886, but I’ll probably do a leaf pack while I’m at it to might have to piece the whole kit together going that route. Thanks for the input.
