IIRC Speedytech's 4 cyl sounded more like a V8 with the louder exhaust. I have a theory that people will tolerate a deep rumble 4 cyl or V8 without complaining more than a V6 with the same exhaust setup. Something about the sound of a 4, 8 or 16 cylinder engine chant is soothing compared to anything else be it 5, 6, 10 or 12.
