A little something every chance we get.
Monday again, so new week, right? Let's see if I can do better!
Dropped glasses off, and fixed already.

Painted and coated the old shift cover yesterday, and put it in to start the day. Looks much better!
    20200720_113245.jpg

Replaced all those mushroom connectors with soldered shrink. Took a while waiting for things to cool.

So, maybe I gained 2 cubic inches, and a little more flexibility.

    Onwards, and good afternoon all!

Good evening from M.A.S.H. 1011 all!
I got my glasses back, so that's a fix!
While the cab was under the canopy, I had decided to get after all the doors with roll deadener (Peel & Seal). I did all four doors, so take my word they look the same on each side within reason.

Drivers front was the "worst" because I had repaired the plastic with new mastic, and man was that a sticky mess. I also moved the crossovers where I can get them by removing the speaker, and fastened them down with more seal. Then, completely covered the doors inside the panel.

    The backs are easier!

    20200720_150843.jpg

I put this off when I changed the speakers last year; just did inside the outside skin of the door. That made a small difference. I don't have the unit plugged together right now, but I can tell this will be a good change, just by the sound of the closing doors!

I thought I screwed up big-time, because I couldn't roll up anything but the driver window......duh, I hit the window lock. :anonymous:

Tomorrow, into the back end wires, and hopefully my trim shows up from Amazon so I can replace the head (again!).

EDIT; I plugged it back in, because I did redo wiring, and gave it an AC on sound check with the doors closed. I am drunk with warm audio power!

Well, you do have a garage and shop to pull it in! It doesn't rain much when it's this hot! I'm just trying to stay tough!
    Almost there with this project.

Same here. I'm still working with the company trying to get a satisfactory result. (There are other issues in working through and once I find a solution, I'll be more open about it. )
