Lunch at work today. Left-over grilled kielbasa sausage on a salad. Starting the week healthy - we will see how it ends...LOL

Finished the key lime pie today... After the poutine last night and brisket before that... I was full up

This is one of my top pies I love! Tart and creamy! The biscoff crust is delicious. I scaled the recipe back and still had a touch extra so still fine tuning for the little pie plates. But it's close!

And let's be real... I ate way more than that little slice

That's pretty much the intention of the mini pies

If I can only make one at a time and split with the wife, I'll be sad, but moving in the right direction on the scale

What was your tortilla? That looks a little different from mine. Did you butter them up, or was that dry?

And I’m adding tzatziki next time for sure.

I decided to give it a try. Texture is there but taste is not by itself. Add the required mix and toppings, not bad for an alternative.

It was basically just Naan, but sold as "Middle-Eastern" bread. Pita would have worked well too. I didn't butter them up, but I did put a little on the pan just to keep them from possibly sticking.

Naan? Man, the naan I buy is thick, about 1/2”.

I miss buying bread straight out of the stone ovens in the Middle East. 10 minutes old. Soooooooo good!

I've had it a few different ways thick/thin. This stuff started off thicker than it was in the 2nd picture. When I was in Houston for some training, the teachers were both from the Mid-east and both ate Halal. I was treated to some of the most awesome food I have ever had. I had no idea Houston had such a large population from that region.

Naan is relatively easy to make, nothing will beat fresh made in middle east but still not bad homemade
