We are going out again this week to see what we can get in the deeper water. I got a big pile of stink baits and some 2 year old frozen chicken that im not going to eat.

I think friday may be trout night at the lake, then this weekend will be catfish night at the river. I got some 20 pound line and some big treble hooks today to re-line my bigger rod. I also got some 6 pound line to redo my small rod. Both rods have 8 pound on them as thats all they had at the 3 stores I went to at the start of the season.

But now that I am getting back into fishing, I have to re-buy all my gear since most of mine has been in a box in the garage for 20 years. Im also looking at getting a boat, but I need a boat that the wife and kids can have fun on. Looking at a 1987 searay cabin cruiser. When I was a kid my dad had a 1984 searay 210 cabin cruiser, so I am looking for that same boat since I spend 10 years working on it so I know how to fix it.... plus they are cheap, sub 3k cheap.

Got a new windshield. Something on the freeway cracked the glass. Oem pilkington $270. No programming required. New oem windshield comes with new molding and brackets for the tss Pcs camera. Just don’t disconnect it.440F548D-CB9D-4AE4-87AD-7DF5A1216770.jpg 2B49F417-CD78-428B-AA6A-322C23E07AEE.jpg

That's really good to know, the windshield on my 18 is cracked badly and I've been dreading what I thought would be a $1000 replacement at the dealership.

I was also freaking out over the cost of a new windshield, the dealer wasn’t an option- too expensive. Safe lite was almost as much. My friend in SoCal did it for me and showed me that the only reason why you have to reprogram it is because you disconnect the pcs camera. If you remove the big black box off the center top, it’s held in by a bracket only.

This ^ problem with my 19 was no one was willing to not unplug it (including safelite), all looking to make the extra $ for recalibration or just insisiting they had to unplug it to properly install which I knew was a bunch of BS, so I had to fork over the dough.

Installed a Rolla Rack to haul my Kayaks. Very sturdy and looks good on the truck IMHO.

A dude in my apt complex came up to me and told me someone hacked his light at off the front of his Jeep Compass.

His choice of vehicles aside, he also just used regular hex bolts on universal brackets attached to his front license plate. Easy pickins’

still got me thinking: if they really want it, they will get it. But that doesn’t mean I have to make it easy on them. LoL

Added “tamper” proof bolts to my ditch lights. Pretty sure anyone can pick up the right tool to get them off but anyone scouting parking lots for targets of opportunities may have a bit of difficulty. Plus they are low enough on the brackets that one has to take the pod off the brackets to get to the hood mount bolts.

Always wondered why ditch light retailers don’t develop/research more effective methods of securing outboard lighting.

Thankfully the grille bar is deep in there and ain’t no one getting at that bad boy. Lol

How is that cable for the wireless phone mount routed? I have a Dashboard Single Mount from them and I was interested in a QI charger for it. Can you link that charger by chance?

The full DMM has a couple notches in it to route cables. I've got a add a fuse style micro USB extension that I'm running up to the charger and the charger is the Scosche magic mount. Before this mount I actually ran the cable out one of my vents which was pretty clean if your single mount doesn't have one of the cable cut outs.
