After further research, I was wondering how you modified that Scosche magic mount to be able to mount on a DMM. Also, which mount option did you buy for the magic mount?

Let me do a little digging on this one.

Okay, so this is the exact one that I ordered. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CXV4RXQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_MKOfFbHAPC1QM

Then I paired it with these: https://www.arkon.com/product/SP-SBH-KIT-1B-adapter-for-xm-scosche-bracketron.html

    https://www.arkon.com/product/SP25MM17-25mm-ball-17mm-ball-adapter.html

I think that arkon also makes a direct single t slot to 1 inch ball adapter that you could also use.

yeah this is why i'm gonna go either f5's or FN 5 star. at 22 lbs a wheel, it opens up tire options quite a bit

    Stock so far, lol!
Installed the OEM power tailgate opener. Instructions were pretty good, you just have to take your time. The sound is not very noticeable.

Call your insurance agent and inquire about glass coverage. The cost is minimal and we'll worth the small money. Numerous replacements over the years on both mine and my wife's vehicles.
Some of the best money you will spend and it's cheap!

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
I had my windshield replaced a couple of times on my last vehicle. Just called up the insurance agent and he made the arrangements, no charge to me. Seemed like the replacements would get scratched up much more easily than the oem, I mean like a million tiny little scratches.

Good for you! Not sure why more folks don't look into glass coverage, it's a no brainer. Most insurance agents aren't exactly forthcoming with the information, you have to ask.
Very wise move on your part my friend. Could save you a significant amount of moola over time. Even if you never use it it's great to know it's there.
We've gone through a dozen windshields over the years.
