Wasn't a big fan of the AT II if im honest...so I'm really hoping these show good characteristics. I'm tired of seeing wild peaks on everything and everywhere. Almost as bad as Ko2's.

I've heard mixed reviews regarding balancing issues with the Falken WPs, but I do like KO2s. This is the only size I run now and they don't make those in KO2s or I'd consider them.

i agree...i do like the ko2. My girl just put a set on her T4r and they do look good, and yea i agree...the offerings for 255/80 suck. I was stuck between the st maxx and Nitto RG'S but couldn't get passed the looks of the nittos and read the mixed reviews about the coopers. Ultimately ended up with coopers and hoping for good results. Hopefully staying on top of rotations and alignments they will do ok. Got a couple hundred miles on them so far and dont have anything bad to say really. Ill be interested to see how your new toyos do.

I came off a little negative when you posted the coopers last week, other than the pulling and the fact that they are almost 60 pounds I loved them. They were awesome offroad.

No offense taken man. im pretty thick skin so no worries. So far the weight doesn't bother me, i can still manage 19mpg if i try. Had it aligned by a local shop after the wheels and tires were mounted and had a very slight pull to the point where i was trying to notice based on reviews i had read. Took it back and they got it sorted after a few hours. Back roads around here are crowned pretty bad so you gotta take the good with the bad. overall ive been happy. Prob gonna hit URE in the next month or so and well see how they do on that Montgomery County clay.

if my truck is still my DD by the time these milestars wear out, that’s what I’ll get. Undecided if I’ll stick with 35’s or not...

I have really liked my KO2's, except for when roads are wet. The rear tires like to spin unless I am quite gentle on the throttle. They haven't failed me offroad though.

How is the wet performance with the AT3's?

Looks like they weigh a few pounds less than my KO2's.

I'm dropping the 35's as soon as the Hankooks are toast and going 255/85/16 and tossing spacers back on. Even with the cut fenders no cares!

I put some 886s in last night courtesy of @cgstclair total is almost 3 inches of lift, got about 1.5" more than the 885s with 1/4 top spacers. CV angles maybe not ideal but still ok I think......

Damn though. My 255 AT IIs are 51, the AT III I'm putting on are 53#. That's a lot of beef to turn.

I don’t know if it makes a difference between Tacoma generations but that second picture looks similar to the angle mine were at on my 1st Gen before they bit the dust. That was a damn mess.

luckily my wheels are 19lbs each; somewhat lighter than most aftermarket wheels.

I need gears or will drop back down to 285’s

That looks a little more extreme than mine, but I'll get under there again later and take a closer look.
