    Thanks!

I asked like a polite boy scout and they said go for it :D

My wife and I are huge whataburger fans. She asked for the #11 tent for our anniversary date and they had no problem handing it over to her.

Tried some of their regular offerings once and wasn't a fan. All of their 'good' stuff has a hefty price tag on it. :notsure:

I bet anything of theirs is better than the Lone Elm barrel pick I recently tried... that thing was just plain bad. "Needs to open up" is an understatement. Maybe it's the 'rona affecting my sense of taste.

I'll be honest, first time I tried GB about 10 years ago it was crap. Tried it again last year, and fast becoming my favorite bourbon.

I'll have to give it a fair shot once again. It has been a really long time.

I was at Total Wine late last year and they had a guy handing out samples of it, and a huge crowd around him. That's when I knew something was up. I had a feeling that they cheaped out on whoever they contracted with when they first started, when they were still aging their own. Or aging their own bourbon wasn't done right, as it tasted really "young".

    Just a little extra protein.

But, really, can you blame a fly for deciding to go out in a pool of good whiskey?!?!

This is very cool! I had that Evan Williams signed by Michael Young. Bought 6 of them and had them signed, actually. I ended up giving them all away as gifts.

I have the Mav Juice and Fade Away, too. People locally are offering a lot for them. I had an extra Fade Away, drank it (it was good enough), but kept the other for MFFL swag.

Great shelf and spread of whiskies!

Nice finds! Were these secondary market finds? Never seen that Weller in the wild.

No they were both hole in the wall liquor joints. One was. True retail the other was mid secondary price. I was pretty shocked to see them just sitting on the shelf

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.

Do tell about the sweet wheat. How’s that compared to regular 1792?

This is pretty good. Just a light taste of honey on the finish. It’s only 80 proof so not my usual preference but I do like all things Garrison brothers.

Haven't seen that one before, but I am not really a fan of flavored whiskey.

The Peat Monster was definitely one of those “o wow” moments for me after the first sip
