That’s the plan. Or use children as a shield. They love the tender meat.

Question for those who have done euro mounts, anybody ever try and put fake velvet on antlers?

My wife shot one in full velvet a couple years ago, I sprayed it with something a buddy gave me (I'm guessing formaldehyde) and I just remembered I need to mount it. Well, got to messing with it and all the velvet fell off and I want to fix it for my wife.

    Any leads?

He got his to shoot in the fields where we hunt.almost guarentee a doe if you hunt the shooting house he carries a 760 pump 30-06 on the mtn. family airloom gun. got to admit the boy can shoot. they talk at camp bout his shots with that worn 06.jump a buck 2yrs ago out of the CRP. him and CJ, he busted that buck 3 times at 250-300yrds and CJ just lowered his gun and watched.rolled his ass and all 3 would have been kill shots. Proud Papa here.

Found some places online that recreate velvet on antlers, WOW it's expensive. I found a place online and ordered some "flocking" which is what they call fake velvet. Ordered a pound, glue, and a install tool for around $50 I'll post progress/failures as I go

You talking about the USB port? I picked it up at the local auto parts store then added the battery cable ends to the wires
