Yeah I was a little shocked at the weight, as well. My FS 29+ weighs less than the Meta. I’ve watched reviews on the previous Meta and it was heavy too. Most reviewers said it was a non issue, but I’d like to demo one. If you wanna make the trip down to Golden you can ride them at their facility. Now that they’re out until November, I may actually head down there at some point and ride one, even though I hate heading into Denver.

Be sure to report back if you demo one. I also dislike heading down to the east slope, but that might be worth a stop next time I head down.

It's still high up on my list, and I know the previous model was very highly regarded.

Yeah, masks were mandatory in public places. Wore them everywhere. Didn’t do anything touristy. No bars, no restaurants.

this is probably a dumb question but do they close down the trails during winter/snow exclusive for skiing and snowboarding?

the bike parks usually only exist during summer. They are ski/snowboard parks when it snows. But there are plenty of trails everywhere that are open year around, as long as they aren’t closed for maintenance or after a heavy rain. Thick out trailforks.com to find local trails near you

Love my Capra. Although I have the pro, they’re super versatile and can handle a lot of different terrain

That’s a great way to go. Like others have mentioned, check out Commencal also. You can get a base Clash for around $2000 also. Throw in a dropper post and you’ll be good.

Get the Clash! Hahaha jk. I’m on the shorter side so 29er are a no go for me. But then again I was part of the 26er for life until I got my Capra. Hahaha but now I’m on a SC Nomad and love it.

Can you guys please help me come with a decent sale price for my Ibis? I really love her, but I'd like to try something new.

2016 Ibis Mojo 3, size Large, full XT build, originally ~$6,000. Custom frame bag by Alpine Threadworks is included, and a full professional tune was completed this week -- including brand new chain and sealant. Currently running 2.6" Minions at both ends, but I will also throw in a barely used set of Nobby Nic 2.8" tires, a spare derailler hanger, and a few new 27.5" tubes.

I would say she's in "good" condition with some normal and tear from riding.

    Current location: Southern Arizona.

(pedals, bottle holder, bottle, and garmin stem mount not included)

Im hoping they can open up the YT showroom in San Clemente soon, I wouldn't mind making my way down there and trying out the bikes in person, unfortunately who knows how long that will be until. I really dig the Capra base I think I might just wait till that January date or hope I can pick up one locally from them.

The trails I grew up riding were a couple blocks away from where they set up their hq in San Clemente. Funny how many times we rolled through that parking lot back then

Normal market conditions, I’d say $2k-$2.5k
Based on the current inflated aftermarket pricing, I think you’d still be ‘fair’ at $3k-ish, possibly even a little.

$2k-$2.5K. I just sold my '19 Devinci Marshall for $3K. Went really fast, and I could have asked for more, but it's nice to get what you 'need' out of it and let someone else ride it and be stoked. Good Karma and all that...

Speaking on which. I just built up the Evil, my Spartan will be looking for a new home soon.
