Did you order them powder coated? That could be why the shipping is expensive.

 

I couldn't tell any difference when i took my sway bar off. I will probably throw some wheel spacers in. Trail gear has them for $80 a pair so it's not bad. And it's worth it not to rub.

 

I was just looking at there website and I would like the weld on ones bare metal. Everything i am ordering is unless it comes already powder coated.

 

It's only at full lock. I'm going to Cary today so I'll report back any other rub or how bad the know rub is when it's compressed some.

I know a place to get them welded on around here. Did you see my review of Blazin Performance?

Yeah i will probably take my stuff there to have it welded on. Also probably my exhaust.

Lol nice. Yeah i have had rediculous shipping like that. I had it say my package was delayed due to train derailment. Or have it go from Cali to Florida to Canada and than back to Florida????

Jason your sliders were weld ons right? And how hard was the UCAs?

 

No sir. They are bolt ons. If I were to do it again I would strongly consider doing weld on but now that they are on I'm glad I did bolt on. If you do bolt on don't skimp on drill bits. Buy a couple. Once they wear out you are not going anywhere. I spent about an hour just on one hole when it wore out then I said fuck this and my dad ran to Home Depot and got another.

The uca's were straight forward but kind of a pain in the ass to get the bolt out and put it back in on the drivers side. It will be easier for me now that I have one under my belt or so I hope.

 

Yeah i was considering the bolt ons but i know they arent going anywhere so i might as well weld them. Did u need any special tools for the UCAs?

 

Not really. Just get creative with putting the bushings in or you could just squish them in when you torque them down. Really just need an assortment of ratchets and some big extensions to hammer the bolt out.
