    I thought so as well when my missus moved cross country to come be with me! She only collected for a couple weeks cause she's can get a job easy enough but it was a big load off her shoulders to still have some kinda income to pay bills while she was looking

    looking at builder grade carpet with an upgrade (StepAhead Nike 8lb) from the cheapest pad. Is it worth the extra $600~ total to jump from the 24 to 40 oz face carpet? Or is the pad gonna fall apart on me before I wear the carpet out?

    It is replacing carpet that is all ripped up and nasty stained which had gaps in the pad install underneath so anything will be an improvement. 3-5 years from now the house will probably be a rental so I don't care too much about long term.

    Just me but, I'd get rid of carpet altogether.

    It stains, holds pet dander and other dirt, etc.

    It was a relief when I got rid of the carpet from 2 bedrooms in my house

    About to say im stoked for wood floors now bc the animals are out at home while we work and idk wtf they up to. Piss definitely would be dry and gone by then when we off 8 hrs later, hairs hard to see and get out of it. And wood floors have cooling effect vs carpet
