I browsed and searched all the threads and was not able to find a good answer or photos so starting a new thread, just ordered a SO B-8PT from Crutchfield to hook up to my new Sony XAV-AX7000, and I REALLY want it under the drivers seat! I am ok with removed the ducting under there if I need to make room (is this doable?) , but more than anything I would love to know if anyone has successfully installed one of these little guys under the seat... And if so could you please send some photos?? Attached are a few pics of the clearances under my seat and here are the product dimensions, thank you!
    Width 9-1/8"
    Height 3-1/4"
    Depth 13-13/16"

You’ll need to check clearance all the way under the seat. I’m not sure about 2nd gen, but I know the 3rd gen’s have a horizontal bar that is attached to the seat so it slides back and forth as the seat moves. On the 3rd gen, this bar hangs lower than any powered sub I’ve found. If you don’t have that bar, you’re probably good

Not sure it helps since you already ordered, but I have a Kicker Hideaway Sub under my driver's side seat. It takes up most of the space under the seat, so can't really have an adult sit behind me comfortably as they have nowhere to put their feet. I rarely have that many passengers so hasn't been much of a problem.

Nice! That looks good! Looking at the specs for the Kicker Hideaway it looks like its actually just slightly longer and wider, Did you have any issues with the Air Duct under there? Did you remove it or just mount the Sub behind the duct? Yea I'm not too worried if it sticks out a little as I don't have passengers that much, but I would like to get the sub under my seat for the best audio quality.
    Hideaway® HS8:
    Box Depth (in, cm)
    13-7/8, 35.2
    Box Height (in, cm)
    3-1/8, 7.94
    Box Width (in, cm)
    9-3/8, 23.8

I just shoved it in there without removing the ducting. I think over the years it may have compressed the opening a bit, but I do still feel air coming out
