depends on price, what all comes with it, what needs replaced, and what else you need to make it run for shit.

Just a pic of the blower but it would still need the rest of the kit to install it, ad doesn't mention any of that. Although if it indeed came off his truck I'm sure he's got some if not all of the rest that it needs for install.

looks like it has most the stuff. Not all of it though.

You'll need a fuel management setup as well and fuel pump.

it does help with the power, but bit price tag up front.

 

Ah I just glanced at it, it does have parts under the blower in the pic...didn't make that out at first.

Would need 2 step cooler spark plugs and highly recommend some kind of fuel management setup to go along with it

 

If I were to buy new, does this all come included in the kit? Or that $3.6k price tag needs additional stuff

 

new comes with everything except fuel stuff.


The used kit you might need a few bolts, though I'd hope he include's the mounting bolts which are hard to find. Though Im not sure how Magneson does support, they might sell you any part for this. The Dynamic tensioner bracket used to be real hard to find and expensive as hell from Toyota.

Gaskets don't seem to be there either.

Either way, a fuel pump and an FIC6 with injectors should be in your plan. And/or meth.

 

Whats a brand new turn key SC go for? Asking for a friend.... Jk. I much rather dump in axles or a crawl box. Just curious of the price range

Well the tuner style from what I’ve heard is hard to program and if you disconnect the battery it has to be reprogrammed again or wire in a motorcycle type battery as a backup Power supply

 

Ok... so I guess I'm going to do it differently than most, I guess.

I tried 3 different upper shock mounts and didn't like how any of them worked. So I started looking through the scrap pile and boxes of random shit I knew I would need sooner or later.

Decided the the upper mounts are going to be custom.

 

Might want to try and make them double sheer. Not crucial because leafs will still support the truck but will be a bouncy ride if it shears the bolt

 

I'd also consider having the bolt run parallel to the tube not perpendicular. not sure the shocks joints with like moving as much as it could in that position with the axle swing.
