    Okay. So I'm about right then.

    Replaced that ugly bolt in the Savage, too. I found all the reciever hardware on ebay for $15.

    Did some work to the Garand, today.

    So the windage knob on the rear sight was binding and very difficult to move. No matter how I did the sight calibration I couldn't fix the windage knob issue, so I took the sight apart. It was dry as a bone with just a hair off rust, so I changed and lubed it up and now it works 10x better.

    The front sight (gas cylinder) and front handguard were loose and I could move them front/back and left/right. I did a bunch of research the last couple days so I decided to tackle it.

    I pulled out a carpenter's hammer, 3/4 steel punch and I peened the splines on the barrel. Now the fitment on the gas cylinder is super tight and the front handguard is within spec for movement.

    I'm hoping to shoot it with @MattCowsmasher soon.

    What’s up folks. I’m doing pit maintenance and mods to my pit. @Beef Nachos came out and we have cleaned the pit, fixed the firebox door and doing mods to it. Been wanting a swing out for my tools. Still got some adjustments and painting to do
