I am not sure how I feel about painting the Tacoma black.

Black is great on a showcar or something else you can keep clean all the time
But at same time the crawler is the perfect thing to paint and not have to worry that the paint is perfect.... Maybe wrap it?

 

On second thought, maybe I just leave shit alone for awhile. My OCD has limits...

Found a local wrecker that was 20 miles away on the site, called him and he wanted 145 for me to come pull it google hooked me up with 'auto wreckers near me' and I found a yard that had 3 first gen tacomas there! 2 were seriously crushed and almost nothing good to salvage (for me) but the 3rd one was an 02 either prerunner or 4x4 that I got the driver side glass as well as a rebuildable steering rack for 150

 

They actually had a lot of toyota trucks there

Lol yea. In the PNW moss will take over everything eventually... our trucks don't really rust out here (unless you on the ocean) but they DO mold. Like crazy.
