    Morning all:

One of the things that irks me is when a few of the local yokels decide to vandalize a cemetery, it doesn't happen that often but I've read about it happening at multiple locations thru out the country over the years. Apparently idiots don't reason and the term "actions have consequences" is slowly becoming a thing of the past.[/QUOTE]

Good morning all, another beautiful morning here, 53 when walking the dogs at 0700 (slept in today). No rain or severe weather in the forecast today - going to work all day on the property. Tomorrow the afternoon Boomer return.

Good morning, all!! Beautiful day here yesterday - and today looks like a repeat, just a tad warmer. Picked blueberries in the morning...and did nothing else but lay by the pool. We made burgers on the grill for dinner along with fresh carrots and potatoes from our garden last evening...with a Tanqueray 10 and tonic.

Supposed to have the driveway seal coated today - should be showing up soon. Our driveway is about 750ft long so they'll be here a while. We took Lynn's car down to our farmhouse garage and have the ATV to run back and forth without having to use the driveway. The Tacoma is in the garage for the duration.

    Enjoy and be safe!!

Good morning all, another beautiful start to the day. You know what they say, the calm before the storm - boomers predicted for this afternoon so we need to get out and get a few things done before they roll in.

    Have a great Sunday everyone

Good news, the town survived the protest with zero problems. It was supposed to be a peaceful protest and it was, just goes to show that it can be done!!!

Hi, Sue and good morning everyone!!! It was a scorcher yesterday. What a day to have the driveway seal coated!! Luckily we missed the big thunderstorms that rolled all around us - had a few showers early this morning but there was plenty of drying time for the driveway.

Think I'll cut grass today. Be safe out there!!

 everyone! 3rd stinking hot day in a row here. I worked in the yard early yesterday and still wiped myself out. Recovered by taking the Z4 out to stretch its legs. :)

Good Morning Folks :hattip:. Started doing laundry on Sunday and had a problem with the washer :annoyed:. Cold water side not working. Plenty of pressure to the valve but not going through the valve. Played around with it yesterday, but removing the valve today to check it out. Hopefully it is just gummed up or debris jamming it. Have a good day and stay safe. Drink plenty of water if your working outdoors.

    Morning all:
Just read something under "you know your getting old when":
Everything either dries up or leaks!

Looks like the human body is not that much different than an old car!

Good morning all, beautiful morning here. 49 degrees at 0530 when walking the boys going to get up to the mid 70's and the monsoon season is starting to show up - afternoon showers predicted for each day this week. Still drinking lots of water - it is what you have to do at altitude hot or not.

Have a great and safe day everyone

We've reached the time of year where it shifts from 105+ every day here - to thunderstorms (almost) every afternoon. Air flow shifts from the Pacific to bring wet weather west across Mexico from the gulf. The shift results in uncomfortable heat - plus humidity - for an interval of time, but helps cool things down in the evening. The desert greens up for a bit.

HA! Yeah, I read up about it, but hey, there's around 10 streets!
Eh all I really care about is that there's a lot of open land for the elk to roam!!
