    Somehow the heavens opened up and these pristine Pro headlights from a 2019 were on Craigslist for $550 so I did what we all would have done and rushed up to buy them with cash.

    I lived in Miami for 3 years and worked for So. Bell a very long time ago. I once went on a call-out to an FPL substation for a telco trouble; it was after midnight and it was about 65 degrees in a wide open field - I had on a light jacket and was very comfortable. When my foreman Marvin (a life long Floridian) showed up he had on a snorkel parka with the hood up. When I asked him why he was wearing the coat his reply was, "I'm coooold"!

    Too many.
    Installed;

    rago fabrication bed rail system
    Baseline Equipment’s. Forest fire shovel and Pulaski axe and Kennedy axe and shovel mount.

    should have the leather sheath tomorrow to cover the axe and will look for a shovel cover as well.

    I sleep in my bed often and do not want to hurt myself... lol

    Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
    No matter where you live, whether it's Siberia or somewhere on the equator, you get acclimated to it. Up here in the northern Midwest, you just have to expect temps from -20degF to 100+degF. Doesn't get to those extremes all the time, but when it does there's no reason to be surprised. You know where you live.

    Every year, in the Fall, the first time it gets DOWN to 50degF, people are walking around in winter coats, mittens, and knit caps. In the Spring, the first time it gets UP to 50degF, people are walking around in shorts, t-shirts, and sandals and talking about heading for the beach. I guess a lot of it is attitude and one's expectations of warmer or colder weather.

    Direct sunlight absolutely kills it! The charger has an overheating switch I've found out that will cut off the power. On hot days I will point the vent up onto the phone.

    I had a question about this stuff before I bought it about a longer nozzle. I emailed them 10:30 pm and had an answer by 9:30 am from a sales manager that Amazon has such a nozzle. I let them know on the website how much I appreciated their quick service. It went straight to a VP.

    I used Fluid Film on the inside of my headache rack tubes.

    My ex-wife was from Dayton, Ohio, and let me tell ya something: when a Mississippi redneck like me sees snow (and I mean like 2-3 feet overnight), it's a rather eye opening sight. We don't see snow like that (maybe once or twice ever 10 years-if that). Anyways, when I was there and all that snow had fallen, it was FREEZING to me.

    Now in early Feb., I went to Boston for the first time ever to see an old college friend. And when I say I packed some warm clothes, I packed warm clothes. For my friend, he said it was "warm" by Boston standards.

    But when I flew out of Memphis and flew to Charlotte and from Charlotte to Boston, temp probably changed a good 20-25 degrees. And when I left Boston it was probably mid-too-high 30s. By the time I got back to Memphis, it was almost 60-65 degrees in Memphis. In early Feb. I had the ac on in the car when family came to pick me up.

    As a funny side story: on one trip up to Dayton, the ex needed to go to Walmart for something. We went in, got what she needed, and while she was waiting in line to check out, I waited by the front door. I had on an Ole Miss Rebels shirt on (see my signature below), and the woman at the front door asked me if I was from Mississippi. I told her I was. And she said, "Oh thank God! It's so nice to hear and talk to someone from home!" She explained her husband was in the Air Force and had been transferred to the Wright-Patt AFB in Dayton. Her and the husband were from the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. She said she HATED it up there in Dayton. It was too cold for her, but she working to fill time. But it seemed to make her day that someone from Mississippi had said "hello" to her.

    Strange encounters at the most random of places.
