Alright guys, what’s the least amount of lift needed for let’s say 35’s? Kinda torn between 33’s or 35’s

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

If you want to do it right. 35s are going to take more than just a lift.

I have 33s and about a 4" "lift" but my truck is long travel. 35s are on going to happen sooner or later (already have the tires). I will need to clearance the inside of wheel well/fire wall by cutting out about 2" of material and re plating/ welding it in. I will also need to cut out 1 tube in my bed cage for more articulation clearance (already rubs as is). This might not need to be done if I put in the trussed T100 axle I have (wider). Will also need to re-gear to atleast 4.56 or 4.88 differentials. Then probably revalve the shocks.

Lift doesn’t let you fit tires, change my mind. Unless it’s a drop bracket pile.

Are those boxing plates sticking out on the ends?

    No rear crossmember?

The shock mounting tube is a cross member, and my rear bumper is made in to a heavier crossmember than I could ever hope to put in there.

It's a 3/16 wall 4x6 with half inch plate for the mounting brackets.

Also, I would recommend getting your exhaust routed out to the back. Dumped like that will make that shock look like shit in short order.

The exhaust tip is over 12 inches away from the shock. If ut leaves soot on the back of the shock, oh well. It wont overheat it and the mud will protect it from the soot. lol

It's not soot, it's moisture. That shock will corrode way faster than the other side. AMHIK
