I owned 3 Titans in a row starting with an 05 then a 10 and then a14 they all ran flawlessly zero issues with any of them. Then I bought my 18 Tacoma because I retired and wanted to down size

They're pretty reliable, although I suspect that has to do with the fact that the current Frontier is 3 years older than the current Tundra so they've had lots of time to work out the kinks.

There is a frontier with over a million miles so they're definitely reliable.

Nissan designs have always been meh though. We will see.

So you had them all for 5 yrs or less? That's not really saying a lot.

I always skip first year models. But if its anything like my current frontier, it'll have waaaaaay fewer issues than some of the tacos that show up here. And disk brakes. :stirthepot:

My wife put her $100 down and is getting one when they come out next summer. Sea foam green (cactus grey) is kind of chick color but at least I talked her out of the sport on the Ford Escape frame!

Nothing that says Nissan on the front excites me. Just never been a fan of them.

No I'm not excited about any vehicles, the Frontier including. I'm interested to see what it will look like and what a Nismo version will offer. The new Nissan probably won't be as reliable than the last. I find the new Bronco to be a more interesting vehicle than the new Frontier.

But still 100k isn’t that much. You pretty much got rid of them before most vehicles start to have issues.

Before I went back to Toyota did an Xterra.

Pretty much the same as a Fonty but was white. So thought maybe it was the same as my FJ55 from the 70's.

Nah it was a want a bee.

After I got married the Ex told me I had to get rid of the "Beast" the FJ55. So bought a Nissan pickup, with 4x4. Right after the Datsun became the Nissan. The manual said it was not built for off road and I said hold my beer and watch this. When the sun came up in the morning I was sitting on top of the power lines on a hill.

Would I risk it now at my age and where there is no cell phone reception? Hell no.

Taco for the win. All the way.

Oh and there was the chocolate milkshake leak with the Datsun Nissan that they refused to acknowledge. That is when I went back to Toyota and traded it in on a Baja TX 7 years ago.

    Good luck with the Datsun.

    Something special about the Tacos.

    Even in the driveway.

I can't say I'd invest in a company that is on the brink of bankruptcy or that will get bought by someone based in China. Family members have learned their cars are only as good as their warranty.

This is why you don’t get rid of vehicles because your lady requested. The FJ would have still been around which is more than we can say for her.

Well we were married for 25 years. Kept the house and both sons which sometimes make me wonder about my sanity LOL.

When I was young the FJ rode awesome. As I got older it and even the Taco not so much. May I suggest a Polaris Northstar? But something special about the Taco just saying...

The NorthStar puts a smile on my face when running hard trails. Both the Taco and Nissan and every other vehicle can bounce the eye teeth down to the piss sack. When you are on the 2 tracks that Paul Bunyan left in his wake anyhow.

Put in a complaint to Nissan when on I-90 going to trap shoots with 4 guys and 6-8 flats of shells. Support guy for Nissan in Michigan said he and another guy went into remote areas fly fishing with no issues. Case closed. Phuck Nissan.

About all I can think of is damn Flatlanders. And I can say Flatlander with enough hatred in my voice to make most people recoil. But now I R one.

But as I have gotten older not so much...

Those Flatlanders are still everywhere however, and still evil! :D
