I remember when the First Honda CRV came out, I was excited. My first car was a 1974 honda civic, loved that 55hp mean machine. So I drove to the nearest dealership, and they had a brand new CRV parked out front with the hood up. I walked all around it, looked under the hood and saw an isuzu motor, turned around and walked away. Couldn't believe that honda would have put that engine under the hood instead of designing their own. I had previously driven a Rodeo just for fun, 1st gear was non existent, and wasn't very impressed.

True story, down in South Texas around Victoria, Edna, Ganado, El Campo, we had what we called dog deer. Some of these small coastal white tail deer didn't weigh more than 80-90 lbs. We used to throw a small doe into the hatchback of my 1974 honda civic. Down side was cleaning all the blood and hair out. First time it happened, I had loaned my car to my oldest brother. My buddy and I pulled into a Billups gas station when I saw my car, and there was a dead doe in the back. I was really pissed of about it, since the car wasn't more that 6 months old. I made him and his buddies scrub that sumbitch spotless.

I miss my 1979 F100 short bed with a straight 6 and 3 on the floor..
That thing was a beast!!! No bull shit !!
Went to a 88 Bronco II, push button 4x4,
That was fun camping and putting my 14’ canoe on the roof rack.. had a blast in the snow too..
My next Truck, Dakota. Nice looking but broke the front end every 2000 miles seemed like, but nice ride and gitty up 6 cylinder
Now.. my Taco, love my Taco.
Will NEVER own a Ridgeline but have an Acura TL. Honda should stick to cars and motorcycles.

Me and a buddy shot 4 does one day (legally)...we threw them in the back of the Tundra I had at the time(along with 2 treestands and 2 bow cases)..hardly took up any room in that huge ass bed. Doubt the Taco would be so forgiving.

Well I'll admit, that 99.99% of the deer(does) we killed back then weren't exactly legal. 22 long rifle just below the ear, usually dropped them were they stood. Never had to track any down. We finally stopped hunting like this when we got busted by the game warden one night while spotlighting. Only redeeming part of that night, we didn't have a dead deer in the back of my brothers 64 valiant station wagon. I was 15 at the time, scarred the shit out of me. Of course when my senior year rolled around, we figured we'd cooled it off long enough and started back up. The stupid things we do when we were young.
