    I really feel bad. He loved that turtle. My dads retired and he would LITERALLY hand feed that turtle. Then give him a bath in the sink. Lay on the couch with the turtle on his chest. Watch tv with the turtle. Talk to it. Rub cream on its shell

    and they hate cinnamon.

    maybe check around the yard. Some of them like to dig little holes to hang out in when it’s hot. Check under rocks and such like that. They do hide pretty well.

    I did a search on this subject, turtles get high on peanut butter and have an "out of shell" experience.

    Side note, if they eat crunchy PB they get the squirts.
