Chicago’s a war zone right now.

Can I just call for the removal of Chicago from the union? Thanks

I may have gone slightly overboard with the lights.

Those are twelve 4000 Lumen LED light fixtures.

I'm in there most of the time, so the need for light is important. I only had two of those fixtures before.

Helps when I'm painting or detailing.

You purchase online? Right now, I have 2 for all of my garage. At night it looks like a room where a young bachelor is trying to get laid.

I'm sure you guys know all about sites to find off-road trails. I stumbled on to this one over the weekend. I like being able to give a general area and it finds the trails, shows pictures, and has videos. It's like running the trail virtually before you go there. Seems to be good for a beginner like me.

You can't have too much light in a garage when you actually work in your garage.

    Where'd you get them?

Same here. Mine are both LED but it still needs more.

4Runner didn't blow up on the way to work today. At least there's that.

Fyi, if you have old school halogen fixtures they are easy to convert to LED and usually cheaper than buying a new fixture.

I bought a 10 pack of em from Samsclub online and have been very happy. 9 of em hang in my 2 car garage which used to have a single CFL in the center

A buddy bought a bunch of Amazon ones and they aren't as bright but they were cheaper.

Ah you bought the ballast compatible bulbs. The way we do it at work is hard wire one end of the fixture to the 120v line and the other end to the neutral. No more annoying ballast that way.

Yeah, I just swap bulbs. The lights have a working ballast, why fuck with it.

Now I just need to buy 20 fixtures and mount/wire them in the garage.
