    Nice!!

I’ve been trying like hell to get a shot of it, but the skies are always cloudy around here.

A massive squall hit on my commute home. The raindrops were almost painful through my leathers. Just after a turn at a stop and less than a mile from the house, all that I could see through my partially fogged visor was that the branches seemed to be going in the wrong direction. The last thing that I remember was wanting to add a bit more front brake, then waking up battling my way out of the branches. Folks said the tree came down on top of me? It crushed and F150 and its box trailer on the far side of the road. The FD had to wait for the power to be cut before hacking the branches.

My wife was pissed until she saw me on Chopper4 video. We used to show the clip at parties until the DVR died.

I was finding sawdust and wood chips under the fairings for years.

Sadly, a woman died when a tree fell on here minivan further east. Not 5min after tucking in there, the sun was out and the roads were almost dry.

Here's a zoom of my earlier shoot. About the best that I have ATM.

I had a bit of a oil leak from the oil pressure sensor there. All fixed now.

    WOW! That’s quite a story.

I was in a group ride two weeks ago on the highway and we rode through a very strong pop-up thunderstorm.

You never think rain can hurt until you ride through it at 70 MPH. It felt like bullets!

    :hattip:

I was a helluva ride. My knee was not feeling good before the collision and felt great after? o_O

    Speaking of after:
    DSC_0023.jpg

Some battle scars, chopped down windscreen, and a used upper fairing had me rolling again.

I also scored those Remus slip-ons. They still sound good, but could use some repacking. Sadly will all the oopsies, they would never go back together if I took them apart.

It was pretty new and all blue at one point. LoL!

When the rain hurts, you know it's a rought day.

Thinking about taking up meditation. It’s better than just sitting here doing nothing.

Good morning all. After yesterday's wonderful and absolutely massive rain storm, I'm hoping it'll be at least a couple degrees cooler. Even decided to help my lawn out a little bit since it wasn't out of my way:D

We still have our windows open this morning. It's a wonderful reprieve other than seeing the place we're moving to have a mini heat wave this week. That's not supposed to happen :frusty:

Pretty sure our 1st "major" purchase will be some sort of AC.
Pretty decent this morning. Tree guy is supposed to come out today to take down the rest of the tree that fell recently and prepare everything for chipping this weekend.:spending:

So basically everything we've sold so far to not move with will now go to pay for tree removal smh.

How's the weather going there? What time of the year will the seasons turn ugly for you?

I would be more worried about all those BIG ASS cracks in the earth core that parallel the west coast.
That 500 square mile VOLCANO called Yellowstone isn't very reassuring either.
It's hurricane season here on the Atlantic Ocean so I may be a lil jelly of a disaster that ends by throwing water on it.

It’s kind of nasty right now - hot and humid. We’ve been having some thunderstorms as well.

I love summer but the heat is starting to get old... especially working from home in a house that doesn’t have central A/C.
My little window units can’t keep up, so running them is just a waste of electricity.

    Making good on the promise.

    upload_2020-7-22_7-45-27.jpg

I was sitting on this seat for the entire workday for 8mo doing some pseudo durability and experience testing. Thee best office chair that I ever had. All day comfortable. Folks flying would love it.

Although, it seems that airlines are less interested in comfort than some other features.

This was the inside of the crate a few minutes before shipping out. I build those fuckers (the crates). The bottom would have been our trade show display once the skids were removed. At least they survived the round trip as intended.
