I'd dig back and find it, but there were a lot of posts in March! He basically went on TV literally crying, saying "hell is coming," etc. It shook the markets, and he made a lot of money. I think he said he's up 30% YTD now, probably a lot of that in shorts. He stole that money from retail investors with weak hands in my opinion.

@Boyk1182 do you own EPD? Trying to decide if I stay in or get out. Or get more in. Still great buy based on yield of the dividend can survive another quarter after this next one pays out. If it doesn’t my investment will likely be underwater for a bit

I don't, but just looked it up. I wonder if the dividend is sustainable? It has a "buy" rating from B of A, CFRA, and Morningstar. I haven't really looked into it so I don't know much though. I might have to now.

I believe it’s been 20 year div maybe? I’ll have to look again, can’t keep them all straight.

Yea, increased for 21 consecutive years. The CAGR of the dividend is 4.18% for the last 5 years. All of that is good. The payout ratio is the only thing that scares me, at 86.61%. That in itself isn't a deal breaker, it's likely just due to the share price drop. They could maintain the dividend if they expect a recovery, but probably couldn't maintain if the share price stays down. I'll be looking into it, there's a lot more to look at but it's an interesting pick. I'd hold if I already had it.

Yep, I’ve had it since 2017. Was probably a 5-6% yield I’d guess. Added as I do with everything since then, put in more in April to average down a little. If I buy more and they can hang on to the div I’ll be in good shape, if I sell, with the past dividends and having averaged down, it’s probably getting close to a wash. Sure would be nice to know when the recovery will come, that would give some clarity to dividend survival. o_O

It's a midstream company, and I'm already in ENB, so I don't know. That payout ratio may be fine in that industry, ENB appears to be in worse shape in regards to that!

Yea, it’s all about survival until business picks up again. I have ENB also, but far smaller position, and bought most during this downturn. So I’m almost up on that just in share price.

Here is where I'm at with energy. I obviously believe in it, but don't know if I'd go much heavier. From my brokerage:

Thinking about rolling the dice on FBCV (blue-chip value - it's a new ETF started in June). I am a little nervous since they don't disclose their holdings and they have a 0.59% expense ratio... but value stocks are predicted to outperform growth stocks in the future, so I figure why not get in now...? Thoughts?

There is also FBCG (blue-chip growth) and FMIL (small/mid-cap), but no info on these either.
