    It is amazing there. I grew up going all over the Sierras and this was something else.

    It was my first time there, so I don't have any frame of reference for how crowded it usually gets, but most of the turnouts only had one or two cars at a time, if any, and none of the area parking lots filled up to capacity. There was always parking. I was there for a week.

    Can't wait to go back.

    I dig it, been avoiding going that route for a while because the plastic version looks kinda cheap IMO. But yours looks sick, I think that will be my next upgrade, thanks for the idea!

    I'm kind of cheating, because the truck isn't IN the pic, but it was right behind me. Mt. Rainier to the far left, Mt. St. Helens to the right. I think it had smoke/steam coming out of it, but it could have been a fire or even clouds. Hard to tell from that far away.

    That truck has earned them. My mirrors also show the scars. Both of the mirror housings are missing pieces.

    Oh, the rain guards are also cracked on at least two windows. And I gave up on an antenna after breaking two off.
