Oh yeah, a ton of rain...like a fuck ton. Winds changed direction multiple times and the rain was going sideways. Took multiple trash cans with it in the rain that starting to flood the street because the gutters couldn't handle it. Bit of hail too. I happened to get home and park my truck in the garage only about a minute before it slammed.

Sounds like a crazy storm. We get shit like that during monsoon season. Fun to watch... no fun to get caught in.

We were training for a Grand Canyon hike a few years ago. 10 miles with climbs at beginning and end. Day started mostly cloudy but not really looking like storm weather. About mi 4.5 the fucking sky opened up and the rain followed us for the remainder of the hike. Big drops followed by hail, lightening and thunder. Our dumb asses kept thinking we could outrun it based on the way the skies were looking but no such luck.
