Sounds like a plan to me

Trust me it does when you're hot. My water hit 93 one year..if it's that hot you can always go to an icehouse, get a couple of blocks and toss them in

Explains the stench! Haha..kidding. I use my jacuzzi maybe a couple times in winter though

I open mine in mid April and run until mid-late Sept, but still not what you're doing. Someday I'll be in the same situation.

Expensive in startup, sure. The maintainence isn't bad if you just don't forget to add the chemicals, takes 3-4 hours to open and 3-4 to close up.

If that's what you want, either buy with an inground or just scope one out that you could throw in an above depending on what you want

    Keeps strangers away!

I'm hoping the next house comes with a pool. Not a requirement, but it'd be really nice! I don't have a preference between in ground or above. If the new house doesn't have a pool, I'd take on installing one. I used to do it as a summer job so it's not something that really scares me.

That’s a classic Boston Whaler and they’ve been replicated for much cheaper. The BW name has value attached to it so it’s hard to find one for short money. They’re awesome little boats though.

I’ve been deep into boat research lately. I just missed out on a nice Crestliner with a new 40 Mercury and I’m kicking myself. I think for sub 2k range you’ll likely have the most luck looking 14-16 foot aluminum, either V-hull or flat bottom, with a small outboard. I would keep Carolina Skiff on your shortlist too. Highly regarded and the J14 model can be found for shorter money. Similar design to the Boston Whaler but a center console. Otherwise keep looking for a Tracker, Lowe, Lund and you’ll find something.

I feel like when it works you develop a much better understanding and deeper bond with the dog. Instead of fighting and bullshit it’s a team now.

    totally worth doing

If your going and doing it with the dog like I did, it's almost like people training at the same time. It seemed like I learned as much or more than my dog did!

    'Morning' all.
Another stupid busy day, chasing warehouse screwups. :frusty:

On the plus side, the GF made me take last night off from firewood work, which was a nice change of pace from the last few days
Grilled, drank some beer, and went for a sunset cruise.

Yeah, I'm working through the leftovers from the 'free beer for people who forgot theirs' cooler that we supplied for the 4th of July party. Besides, cheap beer is handy for pouring over the grill diffusers when they grease up & catch fire.

Yup that's the goal. We get frustrated when he's not understanding what we are trying to get him to do.

But I'm sure as a dog he wants to please us and he probably gets frustrated form not understanding.

So hopefully we can get some standard commands down that helps us reach our goal.

    This is True.
A couple of doggie lessons for you and him makes a world of difference.
I did lessons at Petsmart and the teacher was good, so I think we went for 5 or 6.
