I have no idea what this is for, but the black is always ground, the red (ACC+) goes to a switched power that's only hot when the ignition is on, and the yellow goes to constant battery power.

It is for my camera that I'm installing in my truck. I am trying to figure out which one to feed through the firewall of those two. And how. Because the wire that I fed through for my front view camera that I have mounted on my grill I fed through a grommet and my firewall but nothing wants to fit through that same f****** hole for these cameras that I'm installing right now.

I get that it's a b**** to get it through the grommet in the firewall. I just need advice on which one of those shoe wires I should feed through and how exactly to get them through without having to cut and splice wires

That's a tough question to answer...

Usually these are hardwired, but I see you have a cigarette lighter plug to the camera, and a female cigarette plug to provide said power.
If you have any add-a-fuse circuits, I'd suggest using them in the fusebox that's under your dash to get both the red and yellow power. There's an ACC fuse circuit that would provide power to your red wire, and there has to be a hot one for the yellow in there too. I would assume you only want to send the plug (small round plug) through the firewall to go to the camera itself, and the wiring would all stay under the dash.

...and if that's your plan, then this would be the portion to go through the firewall:

So you can plug it into the camera.

The camera is going on the grille I assume?

    Head unit. That's it.

Wire coat hanger. Slip the hanger through the grommet. Tie the wire to the end of the hanger. Yank. Slowly or quickly depending.

So I have instructions on how to wire it The small wires are to plug it into the fuse box/battery saverssaver that it can be running if any time there is detected motion when the vehicle is off. The box goes to it in order to make sure it does not drain my battery. I was trying to get it to where I just had the black wire going through the grommet and plugging into my camera and having the male and female plugs for The power purposes to be either under the hood by the firewall or should I have them inside in the dash That's where I'm lost.

Because trying to get either of those wires through the grommet is going to be a bitch and a half

If any of that makes sense.

I keep all my aftermarket camera wiring under the dash.
The only wiring under the hood is for the power to get to the camera, as well as the RCA wire to send the video signal back to the display.

I don't know if the Tundra is even close to the Taco, but getting my connector through was shitty. I used a lead wire, tape, and lube. It was also way up on the firewall. I eventually got it.

Then when installing the 2LM, there were instructions for pulling the glove box out. If I had done that, I would have saved half the time and all of the frustration. A direct pull that I could see would have made it all right.

Also, if you just nipped off the utter, be sure to jam a sharp wire through as I believe there is a secondary surface that needs to be punctured?

When I was done, I lobbed a ton of RTV in the utter. It's gonna be a serious tumor to remove if I ever have to.

Looked like it was gloves of some type but wasn't sure. Thanks!

Have never seen anything like it. So I'm assuming the vending machine goes into a shop for people to buy to use while working? Sorry if silly question... really curious though.

    Lube! :D

I had a pretty big wad once the tape was over the connector and wire. It will get through.

Can you get the lead wire through both side?
