Having run MTs and ATs in 33 and 35....I love my falkens. They're way quieter and unless you are doing actual mud/tough off-road, you'll be fine with some good ATs, airing down, and being smart.

If your truck is a dedicated trail/mud rig, go with the MTs

If you drive it daily, go with the ATs

Rationality? On the internet? What is this place?

But seriously, thank you for the input guys (my wallet thanks you too). In the future, when this isn't a daily, I'll be throwing money at it to make it a fun trail rig - for now, ATs it is.

I agree that AT's are the smarter choice. And you can't really go wrong with those Falkens. I also know how tempting it is to rock some real mud tires.

I know they're not on your list, but these Toyo AT3's have been quite good so far!

Yeah, from everything I've read, I'm going with Falkens when my current OE tires wear out, or before ;)
I like the idea of a tire that looks less... civilized.

I put on Falkens right before COVID hit and love them. I am not much into technical off roading but do travel the forest roads and such in in the north frequently. Lots of confidence in these in the rain, dirt and will in the snow too. should be fun.

I went ko2 ATs get the beefier look over stock, better performance than the wrangler ats. But haven't had issues/noise as some people mention. Obviously as they wear more we shall see. Very happy. They also gave me about an inch of lift staying stock size but going 75 vs 70

The noise gets louder as they wear. I have KO2’s on my OEM wheels that I run in the winter. Every winter I turn up the radio more to hear it. LOL

I'm rocking the Cooper Discovery S/T Maxx. Nothing to compare them to, but stock. Look good, however, next set of rubber will be cheaper lol
