I don't have one in my truck right now. :woot:

If I wasn't slightly missing the SWC, I'd probably not bother putting one back in. Trac/VSC all that shit is off at the moment due to not getting a steering angle reading via the spiral cable. Oh and the air bag. :notsure:

I figured the trac/check engine may have been from it being 93* when I turned it off and being 50* this morning when I started it. I cleared the light with the battery trick and I drove about 130 miles today since and it’s still happy. The airbag light... would it only effect the passenger side.. asking for a friend of course

Have you watched this? He doesn't say anything useful in the first 1:50, so just continue from the timestamp if you haven't seen it. He's working with a 2006 Tacoma.

Is that like the joying Android HU's? When I hooked mine up I remember something about a pink wire and a brown wire. Then train the buttons in the headunit configuration. I didn't use any of that swrc adapter bs, just directly connected.

I drove my work truck home tonight, but can get you a picture of how mines wired up tomorrow.

Keep in mind, Toyotas wiring is 99% of the time ground switched. If your checking for power with one test lead at the switch wire, and the other at ground, you'll get a big fat nothing in the multimeter.
