They are just cheapy eBay lights. White part are Angle eyes. Just wanted to see how everything looks before I order the rigid srm lights. They are very bright for being so little. I’ll post picks when it’s dark.

$18 instead of $5. And you get a light show.

Up here in the northern Midwest, you just have to expect temps from -20degF to 100+degF. - Sometimes the same day! (Former Michigander).

Cut mine in half and threw it in the trash.

I’ve seen people try to sell them on Craigslist for anywhere between 10-100$ and they just sit there for months.

    Mine was totaled for less.
    20200507_182620.jpg
In fairness it did set off airbags. But thebreak down was $9200 in airbags, $3800 in body work, $5500 in mechanical, and $2500 in depreciation. Took $20,000 to total it. In reality it was much less in damage. But here is what i learned after going through the process. It really doesn't matter about the damage. The insurance company WANTS to total your ride. Let's say the wreck did $12,000 in damage But it takes $20,000 to total the truck. Insurance can pay for the damage and lose 12k or try to sell the truck to salvage for $8,000. They still lose 12k but have zero liability or expense in it. Is a win for everyone. This may sound far fetched but it is exactly what happened to my truck. I talked to the owner of the yard in Macon Georgia where my truck ended up. He had a buyer right here in the same county i live in. Ended up knowing the son of the buyer. He told me how his dad does it. Perfectly legal. Everyone wins. Point is. The damage doesn't matter. Can they sell your truck for zero return is all that matters.

First time working with electrical components, so I opted for a pre-made PowerTrays kit for my auxiliary fuse panel.

Very easy install and followed it up with an always hot USB in the cab of the truck following this post as a guide.

Hopefully running power to the bed of the truck this weekend.

Looks good, was it easy to wire? Did you run it thru the headliner?

EDIT: Nevermind, RB24 (Cary, NC) is definitely a lot closer.

No - picked up one of these from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DMW3DML It plugs into the rear view mirror and powers the camera from there. No need to run a long power wire. I also picked up a 6" USB to mini USB cable so you don't have a lot of extra cable to worry about.
