Hell yeah. It could have gone the other way a bit too easily. I keep thinking that if I had gone in rubber side down . . .

Ah! The Japanese bikes are chrome plated. The Ducs are bare. Personally, I'm good with bare. It looks sexier when well used.

You can pop them off and polish them, but . . .

I wish we were on Science units, but mileage messes with me. Smaller is better is no bueno.

Bare stainless looks good, especially with heat discoloration. But this mild steel looks rusty. I'm not going to polish it though. I'll either wrap the pipe or buy a full system because I have no sense.

Don't wrap. It will erode underneath.

The Termi tax! It will sound glorious. Unfortunately, nothing seems to make the newer 4V'ers sound good anymore.

That's what I've heard, but I'm investigating low cost options until I figure out what to do with this thing.

I have a MIVV on the RR and a Two Bros on the F4i. A Termi came stock on the Duc (a L-twin) and it sounds great and looks good to boot. That's been the only reason why I haven't done anything to the exhaust yet despite the ugly oxidation.

Take offs are pretty inexpensive. You could grab a set to work with.
