Far from where I visited when I went to Cali. I would love to go back again, despite the Cali hate. Lot of cool stuff to see and do.

Went to Ventura, Santa Monica, and Venice Beach for my birthday a few years ago. Had some online friends for ages that I met out there.

 

I was high on life when I visited Santa Monica and Venice Beach. Wish I had more money and time to explore them. I grew up a skateboarder.

So I purchased a u bolt flip kit that showed timbren bump stops in the picture, but these just showed up in the box... what do yall think, keep em, or ship em back?

 

Instead of or along with Timbrens?

I’d also be down for a meetup, going to be swapping my sc to 265 75s this week with new wheels, added keyless entry the other day for the hell of it and did some heavy compound and paint correction last weekend/detailed the hell out of this this thing. Just got it a few weeks ago. Went from a double cab 17 trd off road crazy enough to this single cab 4x4 base. Wanted to get my wife into something more kid friendly and safer than her old optima so not long after I paid off the 17 sold it and picked her up something better and went with this super clean 1 owner single cab for myself and work. Almost zero rust on frame, the little that’s there I’m going to wire wheel and POR-15 The hell out of the frame this fall.

Father in law owns a auto shop out here, going to find a donor and swap everything out for a 4.0 v6 eventually. Looking at upgrading the suspension on this to a 3rd gen off roads soon..... so ya my wallet was already screwed before I even found this forum lol.

If anyone has the storage cubbies from the back of a 2nd gen double cab they’d like to part with I’d jump on those real quick to modify for behind my seats.
