    stockish for now
Added some D rings on the bolts for the tailgate. I’m not going to be using these to tie down heavy loads, mainly for my cargo net to keep things from flying out. Also added some 550 cord for extensions since this cargo net is so short, got the net free. So not a bad investment so far

    Added some Silverado bumpstops.

lot cheaper than timbrens for my broke ass. Other members have done the dirty work and sounds like they’ll hold up just fine.

Last night while tinkering around I noticed the Frame Extension parts looked rusty and upon pulling them out I discovered (I assume) that they (Beaver Toyota in St. Augustine FL) must not have replaced them when they did the Frame warranty swap 2 summers back... How LAME! I'll clean out the insides and order new parts online... but my question for TW relates to What /Why are the 2 bolts that attach the tow point attachment bracket "pointed" like this?
Sorry the pic of them on the bench is dark, but the shape of the bolt has me stumped.

O have 5 of those D rings across my taigate w/ a bungee that goes all the way across. Great for running bungee through grocery bags & keeping everything in check & from rolling all over the bed

Did a little wash and wax. Tried a new wax to me. Chemical Guys Hydro Slick. It applies easily and wipes off sweet.Made the old girl look pretty nice for a day of two LOL

Finished breaking in my 4.56 gears last night so today I changed the front and rear diff oil. The magnets on both drain plugs had the expected very fine metal shavings and it all looked great. Filled with Lucas 85w-140 again so we’ll see how that thick oil does over the next few months and our cold Alberta winters.

Also put on some tailgate seals to help with dust getting in at the back of the truck.

Goes on pretty nice. I applied it pretty thin and is spreads nice. Let it sit a couple of minutes and buffed off. Pretty impressed with this product. I was in between this and getting their Butter Wet Wax. This works good. It could of been way better if I would of clay barred first. But I was too lazy hahahah
